BackBox Linux 4.1 released, Download Now

BackBox is an Ubuntu-based Linux distribution penetration test and security assessment oriented providing a network and informatic systems analysis toolkit. BackBox desktop environment includes a complete set of tools required for ethical hacking and security testing.

The BackBox team announced the updated release of BackBox Linux 4.1.

This release includes features such as Linux Kernel 3.13, EFI mode, Anonymous mode, LVM + Disk encryption installer, privacy additions and armhf Debian packages.

Upgrade instructions

To upgrade from a previous version (BackBox v.4.0) follow these instructions:
