Dell’s New XPS 13 is 2-in-1 with Intel Kaby Lake and 1TB SSD

A convertible variety of Dell’s XPS 13 9635 was spotted by Windows Central just before CES 2017. It can transform into a fully functional tablet device with 360-degree rotation.

Dell officially launched what it calls the New XPS world’s smallest 13-inch 2-in-one device with the InfinityEdge display – The Edge Display.

New XPS 13 Specifications

Dell’s New XPS 13 hybrid featuring a choice between an FHD and QuadHD+ display and powered by Intel’s 7th Generation Kaby Lake processor with LPDDR3 RAM of 16GB with an integrated GPU. Not just that it will have 1TB of SSD storage.

For connectivity, there are Type-C USB ports, a Thunderbolt 3, microSD card slot, analog audio jack, etc. There are no conventional USB ports on the device. Type-C ports will triple up as charging ports and display output ports. The convertible can keep itself alive for 15 hours.

You will find a noticeable difference between the placement of web camera, embedded below the screen. You can change the orientation of the device through putting the web camera on the top. For security, Dell has added a fingerprint reader.

New XPS 13 will arrive at a slightly higher price tag compared to regular XPS 13 which is $999. The XPS series is in competition with MacBook.
