Well, you may be aware that Microsoft works hard to make its video chat more accessible and comfortable for its messaging app.

Apparently, social network giant, Facebook has been rolling out an update for Messenger Lite for Android. According to the company, after this update, the lower end phone or dodgy internet connections will be able to access Messenger app featuring video chat option.

Users only need 10MB of the internet to install the app along with video chat feature. Of course, you need a solid connection for accessing the actual chats.

A few days ago, Microsoft has optimized the video chat feature in its Skype messaging app. Due to this, Facebook is also working to make its video chat feature more accessible on low-end phones and trying to maximize the audience for its app.

Approximately half of Android users on Google Play Store are having Android version 5.0 or older. Therefore the company need set the minimum requirements for an app so that more people can try the new feature.
